Message No one made claims about what the reasons were or who was right or wrong. Regardless, which company has provided years of great products, innovations and customer service without so much as a complaint? Is it really that hard a decision where to spend the money? With one you're guaranteed to get that customer service and the exact exhaust we've all bought in the past. With the other there's a lot of "unknowns", at best.

If people really want to quabble about a few bucks, go buy the cheaper, knockoff product. No one is stopping them. But yes, it IS a knockoff in that the guys that originally made and designed it sell it as SpecialtyZ, not Labree. Different materials, welding quality, etc. As for his website, if his statement about him designing the exhaust is true, then it is NOT the same exhaust we've all come to know so well. If it is the same exhaust, then it's an outright lie. As the archives here show, Greg designed them, put the drawings on paper, went to Sebring and had them create the offset inlet. Labree was simply the shop he had assemble the pieces, nothing more.

If I've been confusing in any way, let me know. It's really pretty crystal.

"If I'm an asshole it's only because I've been turned into one by the sheer
amount of stupid people and stupid logic that dominate Twinturbo.net today."
